Asparagus is known in Thai "Nor Mai Farang". This healthy asparagus with prawns is a simple stir fry dish seasoned with oyster sauce and light soy sauce.
This quick stir fry can be enjoyed with hot steamed jasmine rice. Omitting prawns if vegetarians. You may simply serve it as a side dish with any BBQ/grilled meat. Just an idea.
What you need, fresh green asparagus, white ones can be substituted, uncooked peeled prawns, light soy sauce and oyster sauce. I prefer to leave the head on for a better flavor.
You may serve this asparagus dish with any Thai curries. Try with Green Curry with Chicken
Stir Fried Asparagus with Prawns

Asparagus cut into 1 inch long 250 g
Peeled prawns medium sized 200 g
Garlic finely chopped 2 tbsp
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp
Water ¼ cup
Oyster sauce 1 ½ tbsp
Light soy sauce 1 ½ tbsp
